About Berkopes, Inc.
Sensemaking. Storytelling. Systems that Work.
Berkopes, Inc. was founded with a simple but ambitious mission: to help individuals, institutions, and communities make sense of complexity—and to build systems that endure.
Dr. Kevin Berkopes is a mathematician, storyteller, and systems strategist whose work lives at the intersection of education, workforce, and applied technology. With advanced degrees in mathematics and mathematics education, he brings a rare blend of disciplinary depth and field-tested innovation. From K–12 classrooms to graduate programs, from national policy to hyperlocal community design, Dr. Berkopes has consistently focused on one question: How do we build structures that serve people better?
He is the creator of the GROWTH Framework, a storytelling-centered model for developing talent and redesigning professional learning. He is also the founder of the MathTrack Institute, a nationally recognized apprenticeship-based higher education model, and author of The Age of Storytellers and Shadows and Monuments. His dissertation, teaching experience, and consulting engagements all reflect a deep commitment to systems-level change through human-centered insight.
As Lead Principal of Berkopes, Inc., Kevin works with leaders across education, government, and philanthropy to:
Build and scale talent pipelines
Design job-embedded training models
Implement ethical and effective AI strategies
Align curriculum, technology, and workforce goals
Translate organizational storylines into strategic action
